Cataracts

Patients over the age of 60 often notice that their vision is beginning to appear cloudy and that the way they see color is changing. These changes are common signs of the onset of cataracts and should not go unchecked. With treatment, vision can be much improved. Left untreated, cataracts can lead to increasingly impaired vision.

During your regular exam at Advanced Eyecare, Dr. Turk will screen your eyes for the onset of cataracts. He will work with you to decide when the time has come to seek surgical intervention, provide referrals to an experienced ophthalmologist to perform your surgery and provide post operative care as you recover.
